This was one of my favorite shots from a recent Little Light Of Mine session. This little guy was born way too soon, and is fighting some incredible obstacles to survive.
His sweet mama has not been able to hold him yet because his medical condition is so fragile.
The look on her face says so much. So much sadness mixed with so much love.
It’s hard to understand why things happen the way they do. I am hoping that I will get to return and photograph this little guy again, when he is much stronger and in his mother’s arms.
Until then, please send love and light to baby “P” and his mama, visualizing a strong baby boy and a happy mama holding her little one, like so many of us take for granted.
